Responsibilities of Infrastructure Department 

The services department is an extreme valued and important department of departments
exist the details is as under: 

a. Health and sanitation department 
b. Engineering department 
c. Fire Brigade department 
d. Mechanical Engineering 
e. Governing department 

In March 2006, after taking over the charge of as Taluka Officer Department of Infrastructure and services a detailed survey was carried out according to the vision and instructions of Taluka Nazim and after having discussions with the different departmental heads a decision was made to change the status of Latifabad from various aspects under the guidance of Taluka Nazim. 


Health and sanitation department: 

The condition of Health and Sanitation in Latifabad was deteriorating and the biggest reason of this was the shortage of resources. The present management got repaired 17 garbage vehicles gave mechanical sweeper, tractor, dumper and also carried out such vehicles in repairable condition, which were lying since so many years with while the department under the guidance of Assistant Director Health Services Mr. Aqeel Ahmed Khanzada started into working with full zeal and zest and devotion, and now it is that Latifabad is fully neat and clean admired by the people and the same is also expressed also. Due to this for the first time in the history of Pakistan Latifabad got such remarks. Through mechanical sweeper 
main road of Latifabad is cleaned; garage is also carried out daily with which the beauty of Latifabad have increased with the added attraction. 

Engineering Department: 

This is a huge department under which all the developmental work takes place. According to the in structure guidance and priorities of Taluka Nazim roads in Latifabad, repair of green belts, the recendifiming of streetsand the repair of parks was carried out and in the connection the priorities of Union Council Nazim and Naib Nazim were also taken into account. 
In Latifabad people used to face numerous difficulties while walking on the road and many road accidents used to occur for which footpaths were constructed of international level; with the river roads sfalted and with this all the streets were also repaired which is the sign of Haq Parast leadership nobility. 

Fire Brigade Department: 

Fire brigade department is a new important one whose function is to put out the lives of people from fire and tries to do duties in any sort of emergency. There were only 2 old vehicles before the present management while used to the out of work often and an with no sign of any fire brigade material and however, the department was totally ignored. 
Mr. Sabir Hussain Qaimkhani gave importance of this department according to its rights and provided necessary resources and got repaired the old vehicles making then in working status. Two other more old vehicle which were decided to be auctioned considering them as rubbish, the present management got repaired the same by making expenditure and today both these vehicles are a part of fire brigade serving the citizens. 

In the previous periods where the fire brigade was not given due importance in the same way there was no arrangement of fire fighter safety. The present Haq Parast Leadership provided not only the five fighting material but also the most valued fire fighting elements; which we are now capable to control any type of five problems. Considering the need of this department the District Nazim have currently got provided the most valued Snorkel and now the department is able to protect the people from fire even in multi level buildings also. 

Mechanical and electrical department: 

A very important departments responsible for the look after and repairs of all the vehicles run in the organization. The Taluka Nazim when provided it the resources for maintenance the department is capable to repair the vehicles, simultaneously it not only makes 
electrical diesel pumps but installs also. In the previous years 100% of work was got done by workshop from outside. With the guidance and efforts of District Nazim the department was re organized again and now most of the work is done in the workshop due to which the 
Municipal Authorities saves a lot of money. With this the second department is the electrical department while has done a lot of work really with whose efforts is today bright 
and shining Latifabad. It is only due to the vision and efforts of the department that today Mass Street lights are lightening in every corner streets, roads, parks and even the green belts of Latifabad. 

Gardening department: 

Due to the personal interest, guidance and utmost efforts of Nazim Sahib a great work has been done in this department. Before this there was no construction in Latifabad. Green Belts and Choraha were turned into garbage depots and the sports ground used to present a picture of lake or or pull in the rainy season. Nazim Sahib however gave attention to every department of TMA but it will be worth while to say that the gardening department 
was the center of his attention. This is the fact and reason that every location, may be a street, corner, green belt, skating around whenever this department got the location and the moment it made the same green, fertile and beautiful and left no stone in returned. 

In this respect many of the so called parties and organizations objected which the authorities had to face, but they went on continuing with their unit running efforts and now today the human beings and the creations of Allah are taking pleasure and enjoying every thing from this beautiful and attractive Latifabad.
